Inkomoko’s Bosses Pay Courtesy Call to Governor Nathif

H.E Governor Nathif Jama today received Inkomoko Regional Director Ms Olive Ashimwe and Kenya Managing Director Ms Makena Mworia who paid him a courtesy call during their working visit to the county. Inkomoko is an advisory firm and impact investor that helps entrepreneurs in Rwanda, Kenya and Ethiopia to successfully grow their businesses to create thriving communities. In Garissa, they have so far offered funded some 300 small entrepreneurs with interest free loans as well as trained another 400 business people.
Welcoming the guests, the Governor reaffirmed the county government’s commitment to empowering the small and medium enterprises in the county. He promised to partner with such entities in order to increase funding for small scale businesses. The trio, who were joined by County Secretary Mohamud Mursal, CECM Culture, Gender, Youth & Sports Hon. Hawa Abdi and CECM Trade, Investments & Enterprise Development Hon. Mohamed Suleiman also spoke about potential future collaborations to support youth and women groups in the county. “We shall soon be launching our revolving fund to boost women and youth entrepreneurs in the county.
I believe if we partner with you, we can achieve success in this program and transform the lives of our people,” Governor Nathif said. Also present in the meeting was Inkomoko’s Cynthia Ndeti – Program Director, Gilbert Mucyo – Head Communications and Maryan Abdirahman.
