His Excellency Governor Nathif Jama today hosted prominent Muslim cleric Sheikh Mustafa Haji Ismail who is in Garissa on Dawaah mission. Sheikh Mustapha Ismail is a religious scholar who has contributed hugely in Daawa. He has traveled across the world and joined the global preaching scholars. He is among the few Islamic scholars who have had the benefit of both classical Islamic training (the madrasah study circle) and the modern secular model.
“Sheikh Mustafa has played a huge role in providing guidance to the Muslim umaah and it is a great privilege to host him in my office today,” the Governor said. Going forward, Governor Nathif said his administration will continue to support the work being done by religious scholars since they play a great role in shaping the moral fabric of our society.
